The instruction supplied by the Principal of the institution concerned indicates that papers pertaining to release of 90% G.P.F. including GPF passbook had been forwarded to the Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement) – II U.P, Allahabad vide letter dated 12.02.2021.
The verification now has to be done at the ends of the office of the Accountant General. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for inaction of respondent No.4. As the same has been met at this stage, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that payment toward the G.P.F shall be released by the concerned office at the earliest, failing which, it would be open for the petitioner to initiate fresh action.
