The present writ petition has been filed challenging the orders dated 24.12.2018 and 18.3.2020 whereby the punishment has been awarded to the petitioner and appeal filed against the same has also been rejected.
The ground taken by the petitioner is that the services of the petitioner are governed under The Central Reserve Police Force Rules, 1955.
A perusal of the said rules reveals that revision is prescribed against an order passed by the appellate authority.
Considering the fact that alternative remedy of revision is available to the petitioner. The writ petition, at this stage, is not maintainable.
The petitioner, if so advised, may prefer a revision in accordance with Rule 29 of The Central Reserve Police Force Rules, 1955. before the appropriate authority.
