Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
By means of the present petition, the petitioner herein is seeking for quashing of the order dated 26.08.2014 passed by the respondent no.4.
The challenge to the order dated 26.08.2014 whereby the petitioner was removed from the post of Home Guard, cannot be sustained after a period of more than six years. However, a liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the competent authority for making request for re-employment/reinstatement.
In case the petitioner approaches the competent authority by moving a proper representation within a period of three weeks along with copy of this order, the same be considered, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of the representation.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of .
