Heard Shri Vinod Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

Present Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate order in the matter regarding renewal of the Society as well as to register the list of Members under Section 4B of the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the Society namely, Janta Junior High School, Falawada, Meerut is a Society under the Societies Registration Act and the registration of the said Society was expired in 2018. Thereafter, the application for renewal was filed on 26.5.2018 by the petitioners, who claimed to be the Manager, Member and the President of the Society respectively.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in case necessary direction be issued for the consideration of renewal certificate and to register the list of Members, as required under Section 4B of the Societies Registration Act.

Under the facts and circumstances, as stated above, direction is issued to the Assistant Registrar, Firms, Societies and Chits, Meerut, respondent No.2 to pass appropriate order on the petitioners' application for renewal of the Society and to register the list of Members, as required under Section 4B of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
