By means of this writ petition the petitioner has come to this Court with the grievance that upon acquisition of his land for National Highway Authority of India award was pronounced on 24th July, 2018 but the awarded amount was deposited in the account of the petitioner on 27th August, 2019, therefore he is entitled for interest on delayed payment. In this regard the petitioner has already made a representation before the respondent no. 4, which is still pending.
Under the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with the observation that in case such a representation is pending before the respondent no. 4, the same may be considered and decided in accordance with law, as far as possible within three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the respondent no. 4.
