The defect, if any, pointed out by the Stamp Reporter may be rectified by the learned counsel for the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. After an order was passed under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 for demolition of the petitioner's premises, the petitioner filed an Appeal which is pending consideration.
Grievance of the petitioner is that while the Appeal was pending, the Authorities were threatening the petitioner for demolition. Therefore, a prayer has been made to issue a direction to decide the Appeal bearing Case No.D201915060002027, under Section 67(5) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 expeditiously. It has further been prayed that during the pendecny of the Appeal, petitioner's constructions be not demolished.
Without entering into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Appeal bearing Case No.D201915060002027, under Section 67(5) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
For a period of two months or till the disposal of the Appeal, whichever is earlier, status quo, as to today, shall be maintained by the parties.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
