This writ petition has been filed, inter alia , for the following relief:

"(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Additional Commissioner Allahabad Division Allahabad/respondent no. 2 to decide the revision no. 19 of 2011 (Prem Chandra and others Vs. Ram Sajeewan and others) expeditiously pending before the Additional Commissioner (second) Allahabad Division Allahabad."

After arguing the matter for quite some time, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer to the extent that the respondent no.2 Additional Commissioner(Administration) Allahabad Division Allahabad , where the aforementioned revision no. 19 of 2011 (Prem Chandra and others Vs. Ram Sajeewan and others) is pending , may be directed to decide the said case within a stipulated period of time.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 Additional Commissioner(Administration) Allahabad Division Allahabad to decide the aforementioned revision no. 19 of 2011 (Prem Chandra and others Vs. Ram Sajeewan and others) expeditiously in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the said authority/court has to take decision on its own merits. Order Date :- 10.9.2020 MLK
