This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the Respondent No. 3 & 4 to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner being connection No. 150113 of 2 K.V., which has been disconnected on 16.10.2019;"
At the very outset, Sri Pawan Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the Electricity Department stated that the electricity connection of the petitioner has already been restored in pursuance of a direction issued by the concerned Executive Engineer and in support thereof he placed a letter dated 5.9.2020 indicating that a direction has been issued by the Executive Engineer to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner.
Since the electricity connection of the petitioner has been restored, we do not see any justification to interfere in the matter.
Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of.
