Heard Sri Anil Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel for the electricity department.
This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to take necessary action in the matter and pass appropriate order for providing the electricity connection in the name of the petitioner M/s Anjani Packaging, situated in Plot No. E-65, SIDA, Satharia, District Jaunpur."
At the very outset, Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, states that appropriate order in the matter will passed within within a week.
In view of the aforesaid statement, we do not see any justification to issue any direction in the matter. We hope and trust that the respondent no.2 shall pass appropriate order within a week.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
