The present writ petition has been filed against the order dated 26.6.2019 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Khekada, District Baghpat dismissing application filed by the petitioner registering the miscellaneous case for correction of the revenue records.
A perusal of the records annexed with the writ petition reveals that the claim of the petitioner was that the plots could not have been recorded in the name of school or dharmshala but should have been recorded in the name of one Jasmal. The petition has not been filed by Jasmal but by the Gram Pradhan personally. The Gram Pradesh in person has no locus standi to challenge the order dated 26.6.2019.
In case the Gaon Sabha has any grievance against the revenue records, as they stand today or against any allotment of the plots either to Jasmal or the school, the Gaon Sabha may institute appropriate proceedings either for correction of the revenue records or for cancellation of lease. In the order dated 26.6.2019, the Sub Divisional Officer has also permitted the Gaon Sabha to institute appropriate proceedings for cancellation of allotments.
There is no illegality in the order dated 26.6.2019 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer.
The writ petition lacks merit and is dismissed .
