Petitioner claims that his father was a regular Collection Amin in the employment of State, who has died on 17th December, 2019. An application for grant of compassionate appointment has been filed by petitioner, which has remained pending. It is contended that other family members have also filed their affidavit in support of the petitioner. Since the claim of petitioner has not been attended to, as such, he is before this Court.
Learned Standing Counsel states that petitioner's grievance shall be considered by the authority competent, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.2 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim for grant of compassionate appointment, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
