Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Although the contesting respondents 2 to 4 are duly represented none has appeared on their behalf even when the matter is taken up in the revised call.

The only prayer which is addressed on this petition is for the release of family pension to the petitioner. The said prayer is made consequent to the death of the husband of the petitioner who was working as a Safai Nayak.

In view of the aforesaid, the ends of justice would merit the respondents being commanded to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law.

Accordingly and without going into the merits of the respective contentions of parties, this petition shall stand disposed of with the following directions.

It shall be open to the petitioner to represent her case before the third respondent by preferring a detailed representation within a period of three weeks from today. Upon receipt of that representation, the third respondent shall duly evaluate the claim as raised and communicate a decision in respect thereof with expedition and preferably within a period of two months therefrom.

Writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
