Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

Present Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the Board of Secondary Education, U.P., Allahabad, respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the petitioners, as per representation dated 13.11.2019, appended as Annexure-9 to the petition for allotment of examination centre to the petitioner's Institution for conducting U.P. Board of High School and Intermediate Examination for the Session 20202021.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that earlier in the examination centre for the last 17 years, name of the petitioner's Institution was included, but for the year 2020 name of the petitioner's Institution was not included in the list of examination centre although the Institution is eligible as per the Government Order dated 16.10.2019. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the representation of the petitioners remained undecided and is pending before the Board of Secondary Education, U.P., Allahabad, respondent No.2.

Under these circumstances, direction is issued to the Board of Secondary Education, U.P., Allahabad, respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2019 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.

Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
