The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner submitted an application in prescribed proforma to have a passport, but that has not been considered and decided by the Regional Passport Officer, Ghaziabad.
The application as per the facts stated in the petition for writ was submitted by the petitioner on 26.7.2018. He reiterated his cause by another application dated 17.10.2018.
Having considered the fact that the application submitted by the petitioner to have passport is pending before the respondent no.2 for the last several months, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of fifteen days from the date the petitioner presents the certified copy of this order before him .
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
