Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent nos. 3 and 4 i.e. District Inspector of Schools, Meerut and Authorized Controller, Navjeevan Inter College Kastla Shamsher Nagar, Meerut respectively to hold the election of committee of management as per the approved scheme of administration.

On being instruction received, it is that as per the order dated 18.08.2017 passed by the Joint Director of Education Region-I, Meerut, the recommendation for appointment of Prabandh Sanchalak was made. The term of three years of the petitioner's committee had already been expired and the direction was issued to the Authorized Controller to held election within three months as per the approved scheme of administration, but till date no effort has been made by the Authorized Controller.

Under these circumstances, District Inspector of Schools, Meerut, the respondent-3 is directed to hold election of the institution namely, Navjeevan Inter College Kastla Shamsher Nagar, Meerut as per the approved scheme of administration after finalising the list of members, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
