Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent.
The petitioner, who claims to be life member of the Society, namely, Sri Gandhi Dham Samiti, Lakshagrah, Barnava District Baghpat, which is a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act.
It appears that the Committee of Management was constituted on 30.06.2019 for the year 2019-20. Thereafter, the Society in question approached Deputy Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Meerut for approval of list. Against the said action of the Society, the petitioner challenged the constitution of Society dated 30.06.2019 by means of objection/application dated 15.07.2019, copy of which has been appended at page 64-D to 64-E.
It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said application/objection of the petitioner has not been decided by the Deputy Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Meerut as yet.
Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, a direction is issued to the respondent no. 2, Deputy Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Meerut, to take a decision on the petitioner's application/objection dated 15.07.2019, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before it.
The present petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
