Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has prayed for quashing of the recovery citation dated 11.2.2019 whereby a sum of Rs. 1,34,443/- is being recovered from him as the outstanding amount of the loan which he took for doing Agarbatti manufacturing business.
Sri Nripendra Mishra on the last occasion has placed the scheme of the Khadi Gram Udyog Board dated 17.10.2019 which provides for waiver of the interest if the entire principal amount is paid in lump sum.
In view of the above scheme Sri Arbind Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is ready and willing to pay the entire principal amount if part of the principal amount which he has already paid is adjusted so that the interest part may be waived.
If that be so, the petitioner may submit its offer to the above effect in accordance with the above scheme before respondent no. 3 within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such offer is made and submitted before respondent no. 3, he will consider and pass appropriate order in accordance with law most expeditiously preferably within a period of one month considering the policy and the principal amount already paid by the petitioner.
The recovery would abide by the decision that may be taken by respondent no. 3.
The writ petition is disposed of.
