The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondent No.2, State Transport Authority, Lucknow to decide his application dated 07.08.2000 for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the route Saharanpur-Vikasnagar within a time bound period.
It is too late in the day to ask for the consideration of the application which is alleged to have been filed in the year 2000. In the meantime much development may have taken place which may have affected the decision of the said application.
This apart, we find that the petitioner had previously filed Writ Petition No.15416 of 2001 wherein the petitioner's application for granting permit on the said route was directed to be decided within six weeks and the petition was disposed of.
In view of the above order of the court, there is no necessity for passing any fresh order or second order repeating the same direction.
The Writ Petition is misconceived and is dismissed .
