Heard Sri Vivek Kumar Pandey, Advocate holding the brief of Sri Y.N. Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-State.

Before approaching this Court, the petitioner submitted a representation to the District Magistrate, Mathura on 10th July, 2018.

It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that no decision has yet been taken on the aforesaid representation. It is also stated that in light of the judgment and decree dated 7th May, 2008 passed by learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Mathura no interference in peaceful possession of the petitioners on property in question could have been made without following due process of law.

Having considered all facts of the case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the District Magistrate, Mathura to consider and decide the representation dated 10th July, 2018 expeditiously as far as possible within a period of six weeks from the date the petitioner presents a certified copy of this order along with a copy of this petition for writ before him.

With the directions as above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
