This writ petition has been filed, interalia, for the following relief:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to ensure the payment/release the security money of the tune of Rupees 3,01,200 (Three Lakhs One Thousand Two Hundred) deposited by the petitioner with 15% rate of interest."
By order dated 23.07.2019, learned Standing Counsel was directed to obtain instructions in the matter.
Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of the instructions received, has stated that the respondent authorities are prepared to make payment of the dues of the petitioner at the earliest.
In view of the above, we direct the respondent no. 2 to make payment of the dues of the petitioner along with interest within a period of one month from today.
With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is finally disposed of.
The copy of the instructions placed before this Court by the learned Standing Counsel is taken on record.
