This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to forthwith release the amount in respect of the work done by the petitioner with regard to the upliftment of Schedule Caste.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and decide the representation of the petitioner. "

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner is a Non-Governmental Organization (N.G.O), which was formed for the welfare of the Schedule Caste of the Country and he concluded the job which was assigned to him but still the respondent authorities has not released the financial assistance in his favour.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to

make a fresh representation before the respondent no.2- Accounts Officer, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi ventilating his grievances within three weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its entire Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavours to consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within two months from the date of receipt of the said representation.

This order has been passed in the presence of Sri Umesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of India.
