Present writ petition has been filed by petitioner-Kashi Nath Singh i.e. Judicial Officer, who was appointed as Munsif Magistrate in the year 1976 seeking following relief:

"(i) TO ISSUE, a writ order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS, directing the respondent no.1 to grant reasonable time to the petitioner for filing written statement in the aforesaid case.

(ii) TO ISSUE, a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondents to supply the copy of the written statement and additional written statement filed by Sri Vijay Bahadur Yadav, Additional Civil Judge, Ghaziabad (under suspension) in the case.

(iii) TO ISSUE ANY, other writ order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS, as this Hon'bhle Court may deems fit and proper in the present facts and circumstances of the case.

(iv) TO AWARD COSTS, of the writ petition to the petitioner."

No interim was granted by this Court. Enquiry proceedings initiated against petitioner in the year 1994. Same must have concluded by now as 25 years have passed since then. That being so this writ petition in respect of relief sought for by petitioner must have rendered infructuous.

Dismissed accordingly.
