Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the State respondents.

The petitioner is the widow of the deceased - Narendra Singh who allegedly worked as officiating principal from 7.5.2013 till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.6.2014.

The grievance of the petitioner is that arrears of salary of the petitioner's husband has not been paid to the petitioner, for which she has moved a representation dated 4.7.2018 before the respondent no. 2 which is still pending.

Learned standing counsel states that the representation of the petitioner shall be decided by the respondent no. 2, strictly in accordance with law, within a time bound period.

In view of the aforesaid, no useful purpose will be served to keep this writ petition pending and call for a counter affidavit. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 4.7.2018, strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the representation dated 4.7.2018, without being influenced by any of the observation made in the body of this order.
