Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
The sole prayer addressed on this petition is for consideration of the petitioner' claim of promotion on the post of Head Constable in terms of the provisions of the 2015 Rules.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that the claim of the petitioners shall be duly evaluated and considered by the said respondent in accordance with law and disposed of within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and in light of the statement so made which is recorded and accepted, this petition is disposed of.
