This Pubic Interest Litigation has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer to :-
1. issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2, to conduct the enquiry in respect of embezzlement by the respondent no. 4 in the several scheme as per complaint dated 19.01.2019 filed by petitioner and other villagers, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2. issue a writ order or direction that this Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case.
3. award the cost of this petition to the petitioner.
Record shows that the petitioner has already filed a representation before the respondent No. 2 on 19.01.2019 highlighting the same illegalities which have been alleged by him against the respondent No. 4 in this petition but the respondent no. 2 has not passed any order on the petitioner's representation.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of this public interest litigation with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner before him on 19.01.2019 (Annexure No. 4 to this petition) strictly in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
