This criminal revision has been filed challenging the judgement and order dated 2.9.2002, passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 15, Agra in Criminal Appeal No. 9 of 2001 Prem Narain Pandey and two Others Vs. State of U.P. arising out of Criminal Case No. 885 of 1997 (State Vs. Smt Urmila Devi and Others) under section 498 A IPC, whereby the accused opposite party No.2 Prem Narain has been acquitted of the charges alleged against them.
This Court vide order dated 9.1.2019 issued notice to revisionist. The C.J.M, Hathras has submitted a report dated 12.2.2019, mentioning therein that the revisionist Ramesh Chand has died. Accordingly, office has submitted a report dated 23.7.2019, mentioning aforesaid fact.
In view of the fact that the revisionist has died, the revision stands abated against him. Accordingly, the present criminal revision is dismissed as abated.
