This contempt application has been filed alleging that the respondent has wilfully disobeyed the order dated 20.01.2012 in Special Appeal No.1372 of 2008 (Mahendra Nath Dwivedi and others Vs. State of U.P. and others), passed by the Division Bench of this Court.

By the aforesaid order dated 20.01.2012, the Division Bench directed the respondents "to award pay scale of selection grade and promotional grade to the petitioners/appellants for which they are entitled as per government rules".

In paragraph 10 of the affidavit of compliance of Divya Kant Shukla, Joint Director of Education, Prayagraj Region, Prayagraj, dated 07.09.2019, it has been stated that the claim of the applicants have already been decided by the Joint Director of Education, Allahabad Region, Allahabad by a detailed, reasoned and speaking order dated 03.01.2013. A copy of the order dated 03.01.2013, has been filed as Annexure 1 to the affidavit of compliance.

Thus, the order of the Division Bench dated 20.01.2012 stands complied with.

If the applicant is still aggrieved with the order dated 03.01.2013 passed by the Joint Director of Education Allahabad Region, Allahabad, then he may challenge it before the appropriate forum.

In view of the aforesaid, I do not find any good reason to proceed further in this contempt application. Therefore, this contempt application is disposed of.
