On the matter being taken up today, Shri K.R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions, states that the Sessions Trial No.3 of 2018, arising out of Criminal Case No.101 of 2015 (State vs. Udai Narayan) under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC and 3 (1) 10 SC & ST (Prohibition of Atrocities) Act, is pending against the applicant. All the retiral dues except regular pension have been paid to the applicant and the provisional pension is being paid to him. The instruction is taken on record.
Consequently nothing further survives and the contempt application is disposed of.
It is always open to the applicant to move an appropriate application, as and when the criminal proceeding is finalized on its own merit.
