Prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Suit No. 870 of 2008, expeditiously.
A perusal of the petition reveals that the petitioner had approached this court earlier, praying for the same relief. The said case, being Matters under Article 227 No. 1999 of 2016, was disposed of by order dated 1.4.2016, directing the trial court to decide the suit expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments.
It is for the petitioner to bring the said order to the notice of the trial court, in which event, the trial court shall ensure that the case is proceeded with due expedition. The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
