Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner appeared in High School Examination in the year 2016 with Roll No. 0898220. The correct date of birth of the petitioner is 22.06.1998 and the correct name of the petitioner is Mohd Albab Khan. However, in the mark-sheet issued to him the petitioner found his name to be mentioned as Mohdl Albab Khan and his date of birth has been shown as 20.06.1998. The petitioner approached the Principal of the College who sent a letter to the respondent No. 3 (Assistant Secretary, Board of High School and Intermediate Edamination, Uttar Pradesh) to correct the name and date of birth of the petitioner. But no corrective steps have been taken by the respondent No. 3 in the matter. The application of the petitioner is within time and the petitioner is suffering for no fault on his part.
This writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 3 to take corrective steps immediately and issue a fresh Mark-sheet/ Pass Certificate to the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks form the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
