The land belonging to the grand-mother of the petitioner, was acquired in 1974 by respondent No.2-Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Khillar, District Jhansi. After about 44 years, the petitioner has approached to this Court seeking a mandamus commanding the respondent to provide him a job in the establishment of respondent and other benefits and privileges.
When confronted with the observation with respect to the maintainability of the prayer made in this petition, learned counsel for the petitioner finding it difficult to assail the proposition, sought leave of the Court to permit withdrawal of the writ petition and also dismiss the same as not pressed.
Prayer made is allowed. The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
