List is being revised. Nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner to press the present writ petition. Sri Gyanendra Kumar Dwivedi, learned counsel for the petitioner is present.
By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has sought following reliefs :-
"(a) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 29.2.2008 passed by Deputy Inspector General (Eastern Zone) Central Industrial Security Force, Patna so far as it pertains to withholding of pay by one stage in the time scale of pay for a period of one year with cumulative effect and order dated 30.6.2008 passed by Inspector General (Easter Zone) Central Industrial Security Force, Patna (Annexure-5 and 7 respectively to the writ petition.
(b) to issue any suitable order or direction as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.
(c) to award cost of the petition in favour of the petitioner.
(d) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 16.6.2008 passed by the Deputy Inspector General (Easter Zone) Central Industrial Security Force, 19 Telegraph Colony, Patna (Annexure-8 to the writ petition)."
I have examined the orders impugned, pleadings and grounds raised in the writ petition and have perused the records. The writ petition is of the year 2008 and it appears that either writ petition is rendered infructuous due to efflux of time or petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the writ petition.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
