Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition challenges an order of transfer dated 25 September 2018. The Court notes that a private respondent has been arrayed as a party respondent in the instant writ petition. The allegation of mala fide against the third respondent is that he is a contractor and it is on his complaints that the petitioner has been transferred.
However, this Court finds no substance in this plea in the absence of any material which may have been brought on record and may even remotely connect the third respondent in any manner with the exercise of administrative powers by the respondents. The second submission with respect to the order of transfer being overshadowed by political influence is also noticed only to be rejected since grave and serious irregularities committed by the petitioner had come to light warranting exercise of this power.
On an overall conspectus of the aforesaid facts, this Court finds no merit in the present writ petition which shall stand dismissed.
