Heard Sri Rajendra Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 and Sri Sujit Kumar Rai, learned counsel for the respondent No.3 and 4.
The petitioner has retired from service on 31.01.2015. He claims that the post retiral benefits have not been paid to him. The petitioner has made a representation in this regard but the same has not been decided till date.
No useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.
The respondent No.4 shall decide the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
