Heard Sri Ram Raksha Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondents to provide him next higher pay scale on completion of 16 years of continuous service as District Probation Officer in terms of the Government Order dated 22.12.2011.
In our opinion the petitioner should first agitate this matter before the respondents through a representation.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending.
This writ petition is disposed of with a direction that if the petitioner prefers a representation within 15 days from today along with a certified copy of this order, in respect of the reliefs claimed in the writ petition, before the respondent no.1, Principal Secretary, Mahila Evam Bal Vikas Anubhag-1, Bapu Bhawan, Lucknow, the same shall be considered and decided by the respondent no.1, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
