This appeal is before us to examine correctness of the order dated 19th June, 2018 passed by learned single Bench in Writ - A No. 13794 of 2018 (Surya Prakash Singh Vs. State of U.P. and others).
Factual matrix of the case is that appellant-petitioner submitted an application on 17.08.2017 to be considered for appointment as Regional Inspector (Technical) in pursuance of advertisement dated 30th December, 2014 but his name was not placed in the list published by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Allahabad pertaining to the eligible aspirants. In this regard, appellant-petitioner submitted representation to the Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Allahabad on 13th April, 2018. On being having no positive response, he preferred petition for writ subsequent to the completion of entire process of selection pertaining to practical test.
Suffice to mention that selection process commenced from 24th April, 2018 and came to an end on 29th April, 2018. The appellant-petitioner should have approached the Court at least by 29th April, 2018 but he failed to do so. Learned single Bench as such has rightly refused to interfere in the matter, as the petition for writ was filed after completion of practical test. No interference is warranted in the order impugned.
The appeal is dismissed.
