Section 26. Composition and functions of the Faculties.-

(1) There shall be such faculties in the University as may be prescribed by the Statutes.

(2) Each faculty shall consist of the following:-

(a) Dean of the Faculty - Chairman;

(b) University professors of the subjects assigned to the Faculty;

(c) Chairmen of the Boards of Studies in the Faculty; and

(d) two external experts nominated by the Academic Council.

(3) The Faculty shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
