Section 17. Deans of Faculties and their functions.-

(1) There shall be a Dean of each Faculty.

(2) The Deans of Faculties shall be appointed by the ViceChancellor in a manner as may be prescribed.

(3) The Deans shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
