| BAST3 No.1 of 2022 Hon’ble R.C. Khulbe, J. Mr. T.A. Khan, learned Sr. Counsel assisted by Mr. Vinay Bhatt, learned counsel for the applicant. Ms. Mamta Joshi, learned B.H. for the State. This short-term bail application has been moved on behalf of the accused–Kashif, who is in judicial custody in connection with Case Crime/FIR No.374/2020 u/s 302 and 304-B IPC, registered at P.S. Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar has sought his release on short-term bail. It is argued by learned Senior Counsel for the applicant that, as per the report prepared by the AIIMS, Rishikesh, the applicant is suffering from the pain in his spinal cord in lumber region and there is a need of urgent physiotherapy; and, prays for a short-term bail for further a period of 20 days. Learned counsel for the State has no objection. As per the report received by the learned counsel for the State, treatment of the applicant is going on at AIIMS, Rishikesh and the medical report is also on record. Accordingly, the instant short-term bail application is thus, allowed and short-term bail for a further period of 20 days is granted to the applicant from the date of his release on the same sureties as furnished earlier, but on executing a fresh personal bond to the satisfaction of the Court concerned. It is made clear that after completion of 20 days period, the applicant will surrender before the concerned Jail Authority. Copy today, as per rules. |
