JUDGMENT
1. Writ Court had directed respondents to pay simple interest at the rate of 6% per annum on delayed payment of retiral dues to the petitioner.
2. Mr. J.S. Bisht, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State has produced in Court written instruction, received from the office of District Magistrate, Pithoragarh. The same is taken on record. Based on the said written instruction, learned Standing Counsel makes a statement that petitioner has been paid a sum of Rs 1,94,041.00 as interest in terms of order passed by Writ Court.

3. Since compliance of the order passed by Writ Court has been made, therefore, nothing survives in this contempt petition.
4. In such view of the matter, the contempt petition is closed. Notice issued to the opposite party is hereby discharged.
