Accused- Mamraj who is in judicial custody in connection with case crime no. 4 of 2020, under Sections 302, 201 IPC and under Section 3/ 4 of the D.P. Act registered at P.S. Chinyalisaur District Uttarakashihas sought his release on bail. It is argued by the learned counsel that the accused has falsely been implicated in the offence; he is languishing in jail since 09.10.2020; though, FIR was lodged against the five persons while charge sheet has been submitted against the present accused and Vimla Devi; there is allegation regarding demand of dowry; the statement of Praveen Panwar under section 161 Cr.P.C. was recorded in which he has categorically stated that the accused never raised the demand and; accordingly he is entitled for bail. Per contra, learned State counsel opposed for bail.
