Heard Mr. Siddhartha Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.S. Adhikari, learned Deputy Advocate General assisted by Mr. P.S. Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State through video conferencing.
Learned Deputy Advocate General submits that instructions have been received from the Investigating Officer and according to the said instructions, petitioner-Smt. Sarita Devi has been exonerated in the matter arising out of FIR No.174 of 2020, registered at Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar. He further submits that in these circumstances, this criminal writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection.
The Criminal Writ Petition No.1422 of 2020 is dismissed as infructuous.
Stay order stands vacated.
