Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
By way of this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents to issue ‘Rajya Andolankari’ (B-category) certificate in favour of the petitioner, as issued to participants of Uttarakhand Movement.
It is contended that application in this regard is pending consideration, but no decision has yet been taken by the respondents. It is prayed that direction may be issued for taking decision on the application of the petitioner, as early as possible.
Prayer being innocuous, is not opposed by the respondents.
Considering the submission of the counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the competent authority to take decision on the application of the petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
All pending applications also stand disposed of.
