Applicant Shashikant, who is in jail in connection with case crime no. 30 of 2014, in respect of offences punishable under Sections 395, 397, 412 of IPC, relating to Police Station, Ranipur, District Haridwar has sought his release on bail.
Heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the documents on record and considered the grounds taken up in the bail application.
Co-accused Lalit, Amit and Sehdev, with identical role, were earlier granted bail by this Court on different dates. The applicant was not named in the FIR and is not a previous convict. Accused-applicant is in jail since 28.01.2014.
Considering the facts and attenuating circumstances, a case for bail is made out in favour of the present applicant on the basis of parity.

The bail application is allowed. Let the applicant be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two local reliable sureties, each of the like amount to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haridwar.
