Station Cantt, District Dehradun, has sought his release on bail.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that applicant is languishing in jail for last nine months. It is a case of theft.
Considering the period for which the applicant is in jail and the nature of offence, this Court is of the view that applicant deserves bail.
Accordingly, the bail application is allowed. Let applicant Surendra Dutt Nautiyal be released on bail on executing personal bond, and furnishing two sureties each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun.
