| BEFORE THE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE S. TALAPATRA 30.01.2018 Heard Mr. B. Dutta, learned counsel appearing on instruction of Ms. A.S. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. for the respondent-petitioners as well as Ms. P. Sen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner-respondent. This is a petition for extension of time for implementing the judgment and order dated 02.08.2017 delivered in W.P.(C) No.151 of 2014. Mr. Dutta, learned counsel has clearly stated that the government has already decided to implement the said judgment and order but for certain administrative difficulties, the judgment and order could be implemented within the prescribed time and the matter is now lying with the Finance Department for their formal accord. If 2(two) months time is provided, the said judgment and order shall fully be implemented. On the face of such proposition, Ms. Sen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner-respondent did not express any reservation. In view of that, the respondents-petitioner is provided another 2(two) months time from today for full implementation of the said judgment and order. There shall be no further accommodation by way of extension of time in future. The respondents-petitioner shall implement the judgment and order as stated in full by the extended period of time, else stern action will be taken against the officers who will be found responsible for non-compliance. Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands allowed to the extent as indicated above. A copy of this order be furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the parties in the course of the day. JUDGE |
