Heard Mr. A. Nandi, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R.C. Debnath, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
This is an application under Section 438 CrPC for granting pre-arrest bail to the accused petitioner, namely, Mithun Deb, who has been implicated in connection with Dharmanagar P.S. Case No.2017/DNM/002 U/s 457/380 IPC.
On carefully going through the Case Diary produced by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor with his assistance, I am of the view that this is a fit case for custodial interrogation.
Resultantly, the bail application is rejected.
