High Court for the State of Telangana (K. Sarath, J.) disposed of Writ Petition No. 9957 of 2026 at the stage of admission itself, with consent. The petitioner, a retired Gazetted Headmaster, complained that his retiral benefits — Gratuity (TS) Rs. 2,57,795/-, Gratuity (CS) Rs. 13,42,205/-, Commutation (TS) Rs. 3,88,527/-, Commutation (CS), EL & HPL Rs. 12,22,402/-, GPF Rs. 12,99,319/-, GIS Rs. 97,160/- and 12 instalments of PRC arrears totalling Rs. 3,42,374/- — were not released despite token numbers having already been raised by the respondent authorities.
