With the consent of both parties, this Writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.

This writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent No.2 in not deleting/removing the petitioner's propergr bearing open plot in Sy.No.235 admeasuring Ac.O.25 guntas (or 3025 sq. yards) situated in Manikonda Jagir Village, Rqjendra Nagar Gram Panchayat at R.R. District, from the prohibitory list and not issuing 'No Objection certificate'in favour of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard Ms. Akella Padma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. S. Sravanthi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration, appearing for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased an extent of Ac.0.25 guntas in Sy. No.235 situated at Manikonda Jagir Village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, from one S.Jangaiah and others, uide document No.8976 dated 13.10.1997. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted an application dated Il.l2.20l5 to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, Hyderabad (HMDA), requesting regularizing of the said plot. Consequent thereto, proceedings dated 22.03.2OL8 were issued by HMDA regularizing the said plot. Hence, the petitioner's name has been reflected in the revenue records since 2OOl. It is further submitted that the Waqf Board claimed ownership of the Plots situated at Manikonda Jagrr Village. However, the petitioner purchased the said land with his self acquired funds. As such, the petitioner submitted a representation to respondent No.2 on 14. L2.2025 requesting deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory land tist

under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908, and to issue 'No Objection Certificate' in respect of the subject property. However, no action has been taken by respondent No.2 so far. Therefore, learned counsel prays this Court to direct respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders, within a timeframe stipulated by this Court.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondent No.2 will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.L2.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 14.L2.2O25 submitted by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate a copy of the decision to the petitioner.
