It is informed today by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein was allowed to participate in the counselling. She did not qualif,r. However, she got admission under the Central Quota in a non-clinical stream i.e., I\zlicrobiology for the academic session 2025-26. 5. Since the entire challenge made by the petitioner is related to the question of reservation in favour of the local candidates under Rule VIII (ii) of the Telangana Medical colleges (Admissions into Postgraduate Medical courses) Rules, 2021, the present writ Petition is rendered academic as the o:iginal cause of action for being treated her as a local candi,late is no longer present.

Therefore, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
